I have over 15 years’ experience in the Recruitment Industry and I have specialised in the Tech space for most of this time. Before starting my career in Recruitment, I taught unruly children in London; operated a ski chairlift in the USA and taught people to Scuba Dive in SE Asia.

I launched my own Sourcing Business in 2019 and it was the best decision for me to become a Solopreneur. I have never been as challenged, yet at the same time, as fulfilled as I am now. I am passionate about raising the standard of Sourcing in Africa so that we can get up to speed with our global competitors.

I also love presenting about talent attraction, career branding and sharing my knowledge, and experience, with others. I am often asked to deliver Keynote Presentations at international conferences like SourceCon, Sourcing Summit, Talent42, Talentnet, to name a few.

When I am not in work mode, you will probably find me having a lekker (vegetarian) braai with family & friends, preferably in the Bush or at the Beach

Marc has 13+ years in tech sourcing, with a unique blend of agency, startup, the behemoths of Amazon & Meta. Currently, He is supporting new initiatives in sourcing within Amazon Entertainment and leading L&D programs for sourcers company-wide. He’s a part of many sourcing communities and is loves “talking shop” with anyone interested.

Marc enjoys exploring the beautiful city of Austin, TX, tasting all craft IPA he can find, cheering on the Chicago Cubs, annihilating anyone foolish enough to challenge him to a Mario Kart race and mastering puns. And yes, he shares a name with Luke Skywalker. So, in his words, “may the ‘source’ be with you.”

Carrie Collier is now the Manager of Talent Acquisition at Appian (Player/Coach), bringing over fifteen years of recruiting experience primarily in recruiting product and software development professionals. In her new role, she oversees sourcing, employer branding, and market intelligence. Carrie excels in building strong relationships with internal teams, conducting talent market research, and aligning business priorities to identify and engage candidates effectively.

Beyond traditional recruitment, she’s proficient in using automation tools, chrome extensions, and developing impactful personal branding. Committed to mentorship and ongoing learning, she navigates her career path with a focus on results, avoiding the rabbit hole. In her role, Carrie is shaping a practical and innovative talent acquisition strategy at Appian, fostering an environment of efficiency and excellence.

Katrina (Kat) Kibben is an award-winning writer and keynote speaker known for helping hiring teams write inclusive, unbiased job postings that help them hire the right person faster.

Before founding Three Ears Media, Katrina was a CMO, Technical Copywriter, and Managing Editor for leading companies like Monster.com, Care.com, and Randstad Worldwide. Today, Katrina is frequently featured as an HR and recruiting expert in publications like The New York Times, Chicago Tribune, and Forbes.

Kat travels the country in their RV while dividing time between North Carolina, Colorado, and the dogs behind the name Three Ears Media.

Tyler Taldone is the Head of Solutions Consulting at hireEZ. He joined 3 years ago as an Enterprise CSM after working as an Electrical Engineer for companies like GE Healthcare and Verizon. With a Masters degree in Computer Engineering from Rice University, Tyler wanted to leverage his education and experience to help a company  on the cutting edge of AI disrupt the future of the recruitment industry.
